Bio - Greg Yau
Greg Yau has over 35 years of experience in the martial arts
including extensive training under his uncles Wing Chun Grand
Master Chris Chan and Wing Chun Grand Master Stanley
Chan. Greg’s focus today is upon the underlying spiritual
basis and healing potentials of the ancient arts rather than
fighting. His Eastern heritage and knowledge base is
complemented with Advanced Physiology, Pre-Med Anatomy,
Psychology, and Quantum Physics from the Western
Traditions. He has studied Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, and
Chi Gung under the well-respected Dr. John Sheck Yee from
1985 to present. Greg studied Quantum Physics with Wing
Pon from 1995 to 2000 and has continued his Quantum and
Theoretical Physics knowledge with Bill Gough of the
Foundation for Mind Being Research from 2000 to present.
Greg has been “encoding” Chi Gung lessons for his students
and delivering them through multiple mediums and modalities
including breathing, movements, water, and mandalas since
1995. His work has been the subject of scientific inquiry and
on going research by Peak Achievement Centre located in
Australia headed by Mr. Clive Stephens.
Greg is currently the Vice President of Research with Vorsong,
former President and currently Board Member of the
Foundation for Mind Being Research, director of Peak
Achievement Qigong located in Australia, and executive
director of the Shaolin School of Health and Self Defense in
San Francisco.
